Terms of Service

These Terms are between you and HoloLedger Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17475127, whose registered office is at 29 Blackwood Close, West Byfleet, United Kingdom, KT14 6PP (“HoloLedger”, “we”, “us”).

You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a HoloLedger account, for any purpose (browsing, buying, selling, trading, or messaging). You confirm this when you join. If you tell us you are under 18, or we find out, we will close the account and delete its data.

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@hololedger.co.uk.

You agree not to:

• violate our Prohibited Items & Content Policy
• misuse the reporting or dispute systems, including by submitting false reports
• attempt to move payment for a marketplace transaction off-platform to circumvent Buyer Protection or Trade Protection
• impersonate another person
• interfere with the platform's security or availability
• scrape or misuse other users' data

Buying and selling on HoloLedger is governed in full by our Marketplace Terms, incorporated here by reference. This covers listings, buying, selling, offers, Buyer Protection, payments, fees, cancellations, refunds, and disputes.

Card-for-card trading through Trade Protection is governed in full by our Trade Protection Policy, incorporated here by reference. Trade Protection is a card-for-card exchange tool: no money changes hands, and there is no insurance, compensation, or dispute-arbitration mechanism attached to it.

Reviews may only be left following a real, completed order or protected trade (“Verified transaction”). You agree not to submit fake, coerced, or incentivised reviews.

Identity verification is optional and provided through Stripe Identity. We never store your verification document image or number ourselves — see our Privacy Policy.

Use of HoloLedger is governed by our Moderation Policy. We may remove content, warn, suspend, or ban an account for violating these Terms. Existing transaction obligations are not automatically cancelled by a suspension — see §11.

You retain rights to content you upload (photos, listing text, reviews) and grant HoloLedger a licence to display it as part of operating the service. HoloLedger’s own branding, design, and code are its property.

Pokémon card images and names displayed as catalogue reference data belong to their respective rights holders. HoloLedger is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., or The Pokémon Company.

You can close your account at any time in Settings → Account. Orders, trades or disputes that are still in progress must be finished first. Your public profile and listings disappear straight away, and your data is deleted 30 days later. You can change your mind until then. Some records, such as payments, orders and what you agreed to, are kept for as long as the law requires; see our Privacy Policy.

HoloLedger is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, and we may suspend or restrict access to maintain, secure, or improve the platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales. Subject to that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, HoloLedger is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

These Terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that may give you additional rights to bring proceedings in your own local courts if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, by email or an in-product notice) before it takes effect. The “Effective” date above shows when the current version applies from.
