About HoloLedger

A digital home for your Pokémon card collection

HoloLedger gives collectors one place to organise their cards, find what they're missing, buy and sell with other collectors, and arrange protected trades.

What HoloLedger is

HoloLedger is a UK marketplace and collection platform built specifically for Pokémon card collectors. It combines four things collectors usually have to piece together across spreadsheets, marketplace apps and messaging groups: a place to catalogue what you own, a marketplace to buy and sell, a way to trade card-for-card with other collectors, and a community to talk to people who care about the same cards you do.

It’s built around Pokémon specifically, rather than trading cards in general — so sets, card numbers, rarities, variants and conditions all work the way a Pokémon collector actually thinks about them, instead of being bolted on to a generic marketplace template.

Your collection, catalogued properly

Every card you add comes from HoloLedger’s own Pokémon catalogue, so your collection stays consistent — the same card is the same card, whoever owns it. For each one you can record condition, whether it’s raw or professionally graded, purchase details, and your own photos of the actual physical card.

Binders let you arrange cards the way you would in a physical album — 9-pocket pages, cards you can move and swap around — and a Showcase lets you pick a handful of favourites to feature on your public profile. Purchase prices and notes stay private by default; you choose what, if anything, becomes public.

Finding what you're missing

A Wantlist lets you mark specific cards you’re chasing, down to variant and condition. Opening a set shows exactly what you own, what’s missing and what you want, with a completion percentage that updates as your collection changes — whether you’re going for one of every numbered card or chasing every printed variant.

Buying, selling and trading

The marketplace lets you list cards from your own collection for sale, make and receive offers, and buy from other collectors with a Buyer Protection fee covering eligible purchases. See our Seller Information and Buyer Protection pages for how that actually works.

Trading is card-for-card — no proxy currency, no forced pricing. You build a proposal, the other collector can accept, decline or counter it, and once you both agree, HoloLedger’s protected trade process walks you through dispatch and confirming receipt on both sides. See the Trading Guide for the full walkthrough.

Collector profiles and Community

Every collector gets a public profile — showcase cards, completed sets you choose to share, reviews from real completed orders and trades, and how long you’ve been around. Community is a feed for posts, showcases and set-completion moments, separate from the marketplace itself, for talking about the hobby rather than just transacting in it.

Built for collectors, not e-commerce

HoloLedger isn’t a general marketplace with Pokémon cards added to it. The collection and catalogue come first; buying, selling and trading exist to serve collectors who are already organising and growing a collection, not the other way around.

Independence

HoloLedger is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc. or The Pokémon Company.
