Cookie Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective 10 October 2026
1. Summary
HoloLedger doesn’t use analytics, advertising or marketing tracking of any kind. We only store what is needed to keep you signed in, plus two small settings that remember choices you make. None of these need your consent under UK law, so we don’t show a cookie banner.
2. Exactly what we store
| Name | Type | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-…-auth-token (one or more parts) and related short-lived sign-in cookies | Cookie | Keeps you securely signed in, and completes sign-in and password-reset links (provided by Supabase, our sign-in provider). Strictly necessary. Only set once you sign in or use such a link. | Until you sign out or the session or link expires |
| hl-theme | Browser storage | Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode | Until you clear it |
| hololedger:profile-setup-dismissed | Browser storage | Remembers that you closed the “finish your profile” prompt | Until you clear it |
3. Payments and identity checks
Checkout, seller payout setup and identity verification take place on Stripe’s own pages. Stripe sets its own cookies there, mainly to prevent fraud, under Stripe’s cookie policy. HoloLedger’s pages don’t load Stripe’s scripts.
4. Changes
If we ever want to add anything that needs your consent, such as analytics, we’ll ask first and update this policy before doing so.
