Prohibited Items & Content Policy
HoloLedger is a Pokémon-card-focused collector marketplace and community. The following are prohibited.
Version 1.0 · Effective 10 October 2026
Items
- Cards knowingly misrepresented as genuine when they are not. This is a fraud rule: it applies when a seller represents a non-genuine card as an authentic official Pokémon card.
- Proxy, reproduction, custom/fan-made, and other unofficial Pokémon cards are prohibited as Marketplace listings or Trade Protection items — this is a separate, broader rule from the fraud rule above and applies regardless of how the item is labelled or described. An item is prohibited under this rule if it is not an official, genuine card produced by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures Inc., or Game Freak — this includes items honestly and accurately described as “proxy,” “custom,” “fan-made,” “reproduction,” or similar, not only items fraudulently passed off as genuine. A seller who accurately labels an item as a proxy or custom card is not committing fraud, but the item is still not permitted on the Marketplace or in a protected trade under this rule. This restriction applies only to Marketplace listings and protected trades — it does not extend to ordinary community discussion or showcase posts.
- Stolen goods.
- Any item that is illegal to sell or possess in the UK.
- Goods unrelated to trading-card collecting — HoloLedger is not a general marketplace.
