Moderation Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective 10 October 2026

1. Reporting

You can report a user, a listing, a message, a review, a community post or a comment. Reports go into a review queue handled by HoloLedger’s admin team, not an automated system.

Reports that a child may be at risk, or of illegal content or activity, are reviewed first. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999 before reporting to us.

2. Review

A HoloLedger admin investigates each report before any action is taken. Not every report results in enforcement action — many are reviewed and closed with no action.

3. Possible outcomes

  • no action
  • content removed (a listing, message, or review is hidden — never silently deleted; it can be restored if the decision is reversed)
  • a warning issued
  • account suspended (temporary access restriction)
  • account banned

4. What we do not disclose

  • the reporter's identity is never shown to the person they reported
  • internal review notes and security signals are never shown to either party
  • we do not disclose why a specific enforcement action was or wasn't taken beyond the enforcement state itself

5. Appeals

If your account is restricted, you can submit an appeal explaining why you believe it was a mistake. A different admin than the one who took the original action reviews it and either restores your account or upholds the decision. Every enforcement and appeal action is recorded in an immutable audit trail.

6. Existing obligations during enforcement

Restricting your account does not cancel obligations on transactions already in progress (for example, a paid order you still need to dispatch) — see our Terms of Service for the exact current behaviour.
